myTRU Log In For TRU, Open Learning Students

To log in to your myTRU Student Portal, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to: http://mytru.ca
  2. User Name: <Student ID>
  3. Password: <Default Password>

    Your default Password

    myTRU automatically generates a default password for you when your TRU ID is created. The default is your date of birth - year, month and day - in the format YYMMDD. 

    • For example, if you were born on November 25, 1982, your default password would be 821125.

Blackboard Courses Link: If you are looking for the link to your Blackboard courses, please login to myTRU, select the “Open Learning Student” tab, and access your courses by selecting the link in the “Online Services” box.
